China
All first-time Beneficiaries are required to complete a one-time online registration through the weblink provided by EMQ’s pay out agent sent via SMS prior to receiving money. The first-time Beneficiaries will have up to 72 hours to complete the online registration after the submission of the Partner Instructions. Transactions can be made only to bank accounts held by Chinese citizens with resident identity cards issued by the government of China.
Korea
A first time KYC is required when a single transfer equals to or exceeds KRW1,000,000. When the Transaction is below KRW1,000,000, beneficiary is not required to provide identification documents. For compliance/KYC reason, the payout partner may request the beneficiary to provide identification documents from time to time. A notification will be sent to beneficiary via email/SMS requesting these documents.
